Formula Championship Russian Grand Prix Trophy
The Russian Grand Prix of the Formula One World Championship, also known as the "F1 Russian Grand Prix" or "Russian Grand Prix", is the highest level annual series of track racing events organized by the International Automobile Federation. The Russian Grand Prix was briefly held twice in St. Petersburg, Russia in the early 20th century. The Formula One World Championship returned to Russia in 2014. On October 12, 2014, the 16th race of the 2014 Formula One World Championship kicked off at the Sochi International Street Circuit in Russia, with British driver Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes Benz winning the championship.
